As Senior DevOps Engineer, your role will be to enable fast left to right flow of work from Dev to Ops to Customer. You aim for fast integration and focus on service availability, scalability, and resilience. You will oversee the development of a full set of DevOps lifecycle tools that will result in fully automated and secured release management pipelines. This includes automated build processes, environment creation, testing, deployments, and production telemetry. You will be joining a tight-knit technology team, who are passionate about their job and enjoy playing an integral role within Irdeto, where knowledge and experience frequently get shared across technical teams.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Work using DevOps methodology CAMS (Culture, Automation, Measurement, Sharing).
Have a vision for the organization that will allow you to implement long-term solutions through simplification and automation that will enable Irdeto Product teams to deliver value to customers quickly.
Develop and advocate for Operations best practices, standards and processes.
Contribute to the availability management process.
Analyse service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability.
Dive deep and identify failure patterns to resolve problems at their root.
Continuously update your knowledge on new cloud and DevOps products and how they can be incorporated.
Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation as scheduled.
Enable our 24/7 Service Operations Centre to support Irdeto products effectively by providing quality documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience working in a public cloud environment.
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
Experience with automation/configuration management using either CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible or related tools.
Experience with docker and container management platforms (Kubernetes advantageous).
Desirable to have knowledge in at least one scripting language (i.e. bash, perl, ruby, python).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and the cloud-based tools that support them.
Experience with application performance monitoring.
Experience with log aggregation and analysis.
Experience with maintaining applications in a Linux environment.
